Shine Muscat is the grape you do not have to work at. It is seedless, and the skin is thin enough to eat, so there is no peeling and nothing to spit out.
The texture is crisp rather than soft — the berries snap when you bite them — and the aroma is the muscat one, floral and easy to tell apart from an ordinary green grape.
These are graded 秀 3L and packed 8 bunches to a 5kg carton, so a bunch runs around 625g. Keep it chilled in its sleeve and rinse it just before eating rather than in advance.
