How to Make

Steam

Place diced potato in a steamer basket and steam for 10 minutes. Add the frozen peas and cod fillet and continue steaming for a further 8–10 minutes until potato is completely tender and cod is cooked through.

Check for Bones

Remove the cod from the steamer. Run your fingers over it carefully to feel for any pin bones. Remove all bones before flaking the fish.

Mash

Mash potato and peas together with breast milk or formula to your baby's preferred texture. Flake cod into small pieces and fold through the mash. Leave some texture for oral development.

Cool & Serve

Cool to a safe temperature and serve. Refrigerate up to 24 hours, or freeze in a covered container for up to 1 month. Stir in a little water when reheating if needed.

Storage

Cool completely before freezing in a covered container. Add a little breast milk or water when reheating to restore the creamy consistency.
