Aomori Green Melon, grade 秀, from the Tsugarian growers' association in northern Japan.
Aomori is apple country, so its melons stay a bit of a secret. This is the Urban Delicious variety, a green-flesh melon grown for aroma and a clean finish rather than the heavy syrupy sweetness people expect from a gift melon. The netting on the skin is the tell: dense, raised and evenly spread, which is what growers are graded on.
Each fruit is stamped 秀, the top of the three-tier 秀 / 優 / 良 scale, at size LA to 2L, and carries its grower's own number on the sticker, so every melon is traceable back to the person who grew it. The Hello Kitty seal on top is the Aomori melon association's own campaign sticker, which makes these an easy win as a gift or with kids at the table.

青森出名蘋果，所以佢嘅蜜瓜一直低調。呢款係青肉蜜瓜，走香氣同清爽路線，唔係一般禮盒蜜瓜嗰種濃到漏嘅甜。睇個網紋就知：紋路密、凸身、分布均勻，呢個正正係果農評級睇嘅嘢。
每一個都印住秀級，即係秀 / 優 / 良入面最高嗰級，規格 LA 至 2L，貼紙仲有生產者編號，即係每一個蜜瓜都追查到係邊位果農種。上面隻 Hello Kitty 貼紙係青森蜜瓜協會自己嘅推廣貼紙，送禮或者切俾小朋友食都好加分。
